It comes but once a year

Have you ever seen what 3636 boxes of cookies looks like stacked up in your house? I have. You have, you say! Why yes, and you, too, could know the same thrill. Just sign up to be the cookie mom for your daughter's Girl Scout troop. Then, you will have signed up to assist a group of girls and their parents sell the mess out of some cookies! Also, you will have signed up to be the utmost of organization and communication.(yikes!) You will constantly be counting money and cases and boxes and making countless trips to the bank or cookie cupboard. But, in my case, I have a cookie dad to help. Yeah!! He has been a huge help to me. He stepped up and chaperoned all the cookie booths we did at Schnuck's and Ike's. He keeps me from stressing about taking orders, submitting orders, collecting money for orders, visiting the cookie cupboard for more cookies to fill orders, updating and sending emails to inform everyone about their orders...........well, you get the picture. In the midst of all this "ordering"--when it could have very well been chaos--my sweet husband, Bill, was there for me. Thank you, Bill.

Now, pour us a couple glasses of milk! It's Girl Scout cookie time!
