The American Dream is not all it's cracked up to be

I began reading a new book last week. It has scared me to death but I cannot seem to put it down. It has really shaken me. I have cried. I even considered throwing it away. But, I just keep picking it back up. We started going through it in my Sunday morning Bible class. The book is Radical by David Platt. It is like nothing I have ever read or heard before. It has convicted me to examine my Christian life in comparison to the "American Dream". I am at a loss for words. I haven't finished reading it yet, but I am going to go out on a limb and recommend it to everyone I know. I guarantee it will spur thought, conversation and study. I GUARANTEE! I cannot get it out of my mind!
